Al Stewart

Writer/Artist

Born in Glasgow, singer-songwriter/folk rock musician Al Stewart rose to prominence during the British folk revival of the late ‘60s/early ‘70s, writing and singing folk rock songs with strong narrative focuses and building a major fan following thanks to his unique voice and riveting stage presence.

Spirit represents Al's entire output since 1978, including such hits as “Time Passages” (#7, 1978), “Midnight Rocks” (#24, 1980), and “Song On The Radio” (#29, 1979), which still enjoy regular radio airplay on light, oldies, and classic rock formats.

Stewart is still an active recording and touring musician.  He released an unplugged album in 2009 and recently performed to an SRO crowd at the Royal Albert Hall.
