Dick Wagner

Writer/Artist

Shock rock pioneer Alice Cooper’s most fertile artistic period came in the mid-1970s when he and right hand collaborator/master guitarist, Dick Wagner, created songs, historic stage shows, and a persona that continues to influence pop culture.

The Wagner catalog contains more than forty co-writes with Cooper, including six charted hits, “Welcome To My Nightmare,” “You And Me,” “How You Gonna See Me Now,” “I Never Cry,” “Department Of Youth,” and the classic “Only Women Bleed,” which has enjoyed over twenty cover versions by the likes of Etta James, Tina Turner, and Slash. The catalog contains the rest of Wagner’s prolific output, including “Just As I Am,” a Top 20 hit for Air Supply, and cuts with Patti Austin, Nils Lofgren, and Tim Curry.
