Lou Christie

Writer/Artist/Producer

One of the youngest artists to write and co-produce his own records as well as a bonafide teen idol, Lou Christie was a consistent hit maker through the 1960s.

Spirit represents his earliest and best known hits, including the #1 smash “Lightnin’ Strikes” (a regular finisher among radio listeners for greatest song of all time) and the follow up “Rhapsody In The Rain,” as well as such acclaimed early works as “Cryin In The Streets,” “Du Ronda,” “Diary,” and “Baby We Got To Run Away.”

Spirit placed Lou’s “Summer Snow” in one of the final episodes of 'The Sopranos' and "Trapeze" was featured in the soundtrack to the motion picture, 'Before Sunset.'
