Adam Chaffins
Known for his versatility in country/Americana and bluegrass music and highly regarded for his multi-instrumental talent and expressive baritone, Adam Chaffins is a Nashville-based artist/singer/songwriter/producer who never fears breaking genre barriers.
The multi-faceted artist began his Nashville career as an in-demand session musician and songwriter, alternating that with a life on the road as a member of various bands, including the revolutionary bluegrass bands Town Mountain and The Deadly Gentlemen. Chaffins has worked and performed with a plethora of artists such as Billy Strings, Kendell Marvel, The War & Treaty, Stephen Sanchez, Susan Werner, Ashley Campbell, Brit Taylor and many others. He has performed multiple times on the Grand Ole Opry, late night TV and major music festivals in the United States and around the world. He received a coveted SESAC songwriting achievement award for his work with the Grammy-winning group The Infamous Stringdusters.
The release of his critically acclaimed 2020 debut album Some Things Won’t Last, with a majority of the songs penned solely by Chaffins, was the launch of a solo career. It was followed by singles “Further Away (Acoustic)” and “Now I Don’t Know,” both featured on streaming platforms including Spotify’s Indigo playlist. His live performance music video, “I’m Over You (Live) from Southern Ground Nashville,” garnered critical acclaim and fan recognition on CMT Music and from Rolling Stone. Another original music video, “Her,” was premiered by Billboard. NPR named Chaffins to its 2019 “Best New Artists” list.
Chaffins, after just one meeting with multi-platinum producer/songwriter and music executive Frank Rogers in 2022, was offered a publishing deal with Roger’s Spirit Music Nashville/Fluid Music Revolution. Chaffins is currently recording new music with Rogers producing, planned for release later this year.
