Miami-born, Charity Daw is an RIAA platinum-certified and Billboard chart-topping songwriter and artist with a songbook that has amassed over a billion streams. Charity’s pen transcends boundaries, covering an expansive range of media from the realms of television, film, brands, recording artists, to the immersive world of gaming. Charity has composed bespoke tunes for numerous hit properties, notably for Disney’s recordbreaking DESCENDANTS trilogy. The franchise’s debut soundtrack catapulted to #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and the sequel’s lead single, “Ways To Be Wicked,” made waves on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, steering the soundtrack to claim the coveted #1 position on Billboard’s Soundtrack chart. You can also hear Charity’s infectious melodies and captivating storytelling lyricism in beloved series like Nickelodeon’s “Blue’s Clues & You,” “The Loud House,” and “Rugrats,” Apple TV+’s tween sci-fi drama “Circuit Breakers,” Netflix’s “Polly Pocket Adventure Studios,” and “L.O.L Surprise!” The latter venture saw her help kickstart the best-selling doll brand’s first-ever album and global tour, with tracks like “I’m A Queen,” empowering young girls with self-affirming anthems.
