DJ Clark Kent
Considered one of the best DJs of all time, DJ Clark Kent’s career is a virtual road map through popular hip-hop and R&B.
As one of Jay Z’s first supporters, the veteran producer introduced him to then manager, Damon Dash, and produced three of his breakthrough tracks including “Brooklyn’s Finest,” which introduced the Notorious B.I.G.
The 1990s also found Clark working on projects with Canibus, Funkmaster Flex, Junior M.A.F.I.A., Mary J. Blige, and again for Biggie, producing “Sky’s The Limit” from the artist’s 10x-platinum, ‘Life After Death.’
Clark also served stints in A&R for such labels as Elektra and Motown before being named Sr. VP of A&R for Roc-A-Fella Records.
Most recently, Clark has written and produced tracks for Foxy Brown, Mariah Carey, Keith Murray, Charli Baltimore, and L’il Kim while launching his own production company, Clarkworld Entertainment.
