Matt Singleton is a multi-talented musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as a member of Triple Run, where he contributes vocals, bass, acoustic guitar, and dobro. Born and raised on his family’s farm in Sumter, South Carolina, Matt grew up surrounded by music. His parents’ diverse musical tastes—ranging from gospel and bluegrass to classical and rock—shaped his early love for music and inspired him to explore multiple genres.

A natural instrumentalist, Matt is proficient on drums, piano, bass, and guitar, often picking up new instruments with ease. His musical versatility led him to pursue a degree in audio engineering at Belmont University, where he honed his technical skills and deepened his understanding of music production.

After graduating, Matt hit the road with a touring rock band, gaining invaluable experience as a performer and songwriter. But fate had more in store for him. While working part-time as a parking valet, he met Eric Knutson, a fellow musician. The two quickly bonded over their shared passion for music, forming a friendship that would soon shape their careers.

At the time, Eric was already performing with Brittany Taylor, a powerhouse vocalist and guitarist. Recognizing Matt’s talent and musical chemistry with them, Eric invited him to join their collaboration—and with that, Triple Run was born.

Now, as a key member of the band, Matt’s rich harmonies, dynamic bass lines, and instrumental prowess help define Triple Run’s signature sound. His background in audio engineering and years of live performance add depth to their recordings and electrifying stage presence. Whether laying down a groove on bass or delivering heartfelt lyrics, Matt Singleton continues to push the boundaries of country and rock with Triple Run.
