Palmer Lee
Palmer Lee is a songwriter from Rogers, Arkansas. In May 2015, she graduated from Belmont University where she studied commercial voice. During her time in college, Lee began her songwriting career as half of country/folk duo 3rd & Union with Chase Coy. Their 2012 full-length debut was critically acclaimed by The Washington Post and the last track on the album, “No More,” was featured on the television show Degrassi. Palmer has also released an EP and full-length record on her own.
Lee’s influences range from Patty Griffin and Lee Ann Womack to Ellie Goulding and Katy Perry, covering most of the Country, Americana, and Pop music spectrums. This diversity is well-reflected in her writing. She notes one of her biggest strengths as a writer is her ability to write several genres of music for both male and female artists.
Since graduation, Lee has spent most of her time writing and attending writer’s rounds and shows, both as a listener and performer. While she still plans to continue to record and release her own music, Lee considers herself primarily a songwriter. Palmer is excited for what lies ahead as part of the Spirit Music Nashville and Fluid Music Revolution team!
