Paul Wall

Rapper, DJ and entrepreneur, Paul Wall is one of Texas’s most successful independent musicians. Since 1999 Paul Wall has been one of the pillars of Texas mixtape community, earning him a major deal with Swishahouse Records’ 2004 joint venture with Atlantic Records. Wall’s 2005 release of his major album “PEOPLE’S CHAMP” debuted on BILLBOARD MAGAZINE’S TOP 200 in the #1 spot and quickly reached platinum status.
Paul Wall is also an avid entrepreneur. In 1998 Paul Wall partnered with the now world famous jeweler Johnny Dang to sell custom gold grillz. They built up an iconic clientele of celebrities worldwide, and in 2007, Paul received a GRAMMY Nomination for Best Rap Performance as a Duo or Group for his feature on the song GRILLZ with Nelly and Jermaine Dupri. Wall and Dang still sell over 100 grillz per day out of their lavish Houston jewelry store.
Paul Wall was given the nickname “The People’s Champ” for his constant work within Texas underprivileged communities. After Hurricane Harvey Wall And his wife Crystal opened the doors of Crystal’s fitness studio to gather supplies and donations for people affected. Each summer, Wall hosts a Back2School back pack drive to help encourage enthusiasm in going back to school.
Paul has been a Governor and Trustee for the Texas Chapter of the Recording Acadamy (Grammys), and with over 100 mixtapes and album releases, he continues to be a leader in hip-hop
