Rose Falcon
Rose Falcon’s music flows easily between genres with the common thread of an individual vocal style and a gift for exposing the heart of the songs she writes.
Born in New York City and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Rose is the daughter of legendary singer – songwriter Billy Falcon. Rose began writing poetry at age 12, which soon became the basis for her own artistic journey. She was discovered and signed by Columbia Records who released her self-titled EP in 2008. Rose quickly gained notoriety having several of her songs placed in film and TV including Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Master of Disguise, Raising Helen, Dawson’s Creek, and Inspector Gadget 2 as well as national ad campaigns for Verizon Wireless, JC Penny, The Build a Bear Workshop and Estée Lauder. In 2008 Falcon parted ways with Columbia, signed a publishing deal with Cal IV Entertainment based out of Nashville, TN and began recording, “19th Avenue – the EP” which was released in May to critical acclaim and a huge endorsement from Jon Bon Jovi.
“In an era filled with contest winners and formatted radio playlists occasionally there comes along a true artist who has the ability to make you hear as well as feel. Rose Falcon has been at this for a long time. She’s an old soul in the voice of a beautiful young lady. She speaks of a life lived. She’s earned this shot. From backyard to bar to arena stages. Take a listen. You won’t be disappointed… ” – Jon Bon Jovi.
Rose is unabashed in her writing and sings with an uncommon brutal honesty. “I want my songs to be like a friend to anyone listening. My hope is that when people listen, they gain comfort in knowing they are not alone in the feelings they have.” Her songwriting credits include cuts by Lady Antebellum, Faith Hill, Jessie James, Day of Fire, and most recently, Eric Paslay’s number one single, “Friday Night.”
Rose is currently writing for a new album, and enjoying the process. “I got my first record deal at fourteen years old! I have learned so much since then. I used to be anxious and always in a rush to see what was next, but I have finally learned to simply enjoy the ride. I am so blessed to get to live out my
passion every day, and to make a living doing what I love. I’m not in a hurry anymore. I trust God’s timing and I just want this record to be right. I have a good feeling about this one.”
