Tommy Henriksen, born in the modest town of Port Jefferson, NY, grew up in a working-class household as one of five children raised by a single father who worked tirelessly to support his family. From an early age, Henriksen developed a deep passion for music, and his dreams of a musical career eventually led him to California. There, he struggled to find success in the competitive Los Angeles music scene, ultimately deciding to return to New York City in 1991.

Though Henriksen found work in construction to make ends meet, his love for music never waned. He took on a brief role as a guitar and keyboard technician for Alice Cooper, which would later prove to be a pivotal turning point in his career. It was through this connection that Henriksen met British producer Keith Forsey, known for his work with iconic bands like the Psychedelic Furs and Simple Minds. The two immediately bonded and began collaborating on Henriksen’s debut album.

In 1998, fortune smiled on Henriksen when Capitol Records executive Steve Patch heard his music and signed him to a major-label recording contract. This marked the beginning of Henriksen’s professional music career, as his unique blend of rock and pop elements began to gain recognition. Over the years, Tommy Henriksen would continue to develop his craft, working with high-profile artists and contributing to the music world in both performance and production roles. His journey from a small-town dreamer to a respected musician and producer reflects the resilience and passion that have driven his career from the very start.
